Men affected by domestic violence - thinking ahead

We cordially invite you to this year's conference in Frankfurt am Main, in the SAALBAU Gallus. Gallus is the former working-class district near the main railway station, easily accessible by public transport.

In terms of content, our conference will present new findings on men affected by violence. Changes in assistance options will also play a role, e.g. those that the Violence Assistance Act, which is currently being drafted and is expected to come into force in 2025, will make available to those affected. There will be methodical and informal space to discuss these findings and to network. We are also looking beyond Germany and have invited representatives of support systems from European countries. The following schedule is planned.

Guided tour through the Gallus district. "Historically, the district is a mixed area. In addition to production and trade, transportation played a major role, but it lost importance when the freight station was abandoned. Frankfurt's main railway station, built in 1880, is still a landmark. From April 1964 to August 1965, the first Auschwitz trial was held in Haus Gallus (Bürgerhaus)."
