Key Figures on Men’s Protection Shelters in Germany 2023

The Federal Coordination Office for the Protection of Male Victims of Violence (BFKM) publishes an annual report on the use of men’s protection shelters. In 2023, a total of 15 shelters with 48 spaces were available in Germany for men affected by domestic violence and their children.

For the first time, the analysis includes a three-year comparison, highlighting developments and trends.
